Whoever said the folks at HIF didn't have a sense of humor? Their "Louisiana Ding-Wop" is a solid brass weight, which may be attached to the end ring of a measuring tape to hold it straight when performing a tape-down. An adjustable collar allows the length of the weight to be changed so the bottom of the weight is exactly 1 foot from the end of the tape.
